And what makes you think that people who believe in God are any less capable of dealing with any given emergency than people who don't? Most of the founding fathers of the USA believed in God, and it didn't prevent them from winning their revolution. Abraham Lincoln believed in God, and it didn't prevent him from leading the North to a victory in the Civil War. Gandhi believed in God and it didn't prevent him from leading a successful nonviolent revolution that freed India from foreign rule. Mother Teresa believed in God, and it didn't prevent her from saving many, many lives. Elizabeth the First believed in God, and it didn't prevent her from defeating the Spanish Empire (the superpower of that time).

Your kneejerk opinions regarding people who "believe in God"...(as if they were all identical to one another!)...are based on a false presumption, and they have no relevance as to whether someone can lead a country effectively or not in a time of crisis.
