Thread Name: BS: Capture Video problem
Subject: BS: Capture Video problem
I have now spent six months trying to solve this To no avail, and I don't expect to get it solved here, but I would like some helpful comments if anyone has any.

I am running Win XP with nero suite for video, although I have tried loads of different "capture video" progs and devices but they all turn out the same, even had the tech bods at Nero coming up with all sorts of cures but still nothing.

I have two firewire slots on the back of my PC, when I capture video I get a scrambled picture, BUT I have now found that if I uplug the connection and put it in the one next door it works perfectly, UNTIL I close down. When I start up again, the same thing happens (scrambled picture) until I unplug and put it back in the slot next door, so the only way to get it to work is each time I want to use it is switch slots.
Ittook me five months to discover this way and now at least I can use the programme, but it's a bit annoying to have to keep going to the back of the PC each time.

Surely there must be some simple explanation.

Thoughts please.
