No, I don't. I log in here and read practically verbatim what is cut and pasted from other websites(including the candidate propaganda sites), or what everyone just heard on the nightly network or cable news channels.

That isn't what I consider critical thinking. That sort of failure to reason is exactly what got us into the Iraq war.

Critical thinking is Arlo Guthrie actually looking at what Ron Paul is saying, because Ron Paul is appealing to a certain populist segment of the voting public. Not endorsing him and everything he stands for, all or nothing. Just looking at and noticing, and critically evaluating his appeal, and doing the same with ALL the candidates regardless of party affiliation.

Party partisans in the US are simply not capable of engaging in critical thought, much less a meaningful dialogue, because they are so damn busy proselytizing for their candidates/party ideology.

There are LOTS of Democratic party ideologues on this web forum. They are, almost to a person, backing Obama. They think and act like sheep, IMO.
