After years of US-bashing for the sh***y Presidential choice NOT made 8 years ago by Mudcatters, but foisted upon us ALL by those who voted him in, US Catters are naturally acutely interested in the present opportunity to dump the party that spawned him, and the proliferatio of threads IMO is an effort to keep the discussions pointed to narrow sub-sub-sub-topics within the broader discussion, and I don't see a problem with that.

If people like a particular sub-sub-sub-topic, they will post. If not, they won't.

If that's too much politics, may I respectfully suggest that if a thread is not of interest, don't open it and, if you do, don't get so preoccupied with it that you perpetuate it simply by posting in it.
