You will need a set of headphones for the Zoom H4 if you want to listen immediately to what you've recorded, as it has no inbuilt speaker. Or you can just hope you've set your recording levels correctly, and find out when you get home if it's OK or not!

I don't know if the H2 or the Edirol have playback.
