There really should be some position equivalent to national poet laureat. What on earth should it be called:

National Folk Laureate

National Folk Singer

National Folk Artist

National Folk Egotist

National Folk Czar

National Folk General

National Folk Treasure

It's not an easy job but maybe we should send the winning title and specs to the Obama Campaign so they're not caught flat-footed. Maybe we should also send the same message to the Clinton Campaign and see if they offer a better deal.
