Well, actually, pdq...I come pretty close to hating McCain....although "hate" is not the right word. How do I put it?

I shudder at the thought of him becoming president.

Why? Because I think he will keep the USA at war, deepen the war, and probably make it into a considerably worse war with worse ramifications. I think he's a soldier who is psychologically wedded to the idea of fighting further battles to make up for the past...for not winning in Vietnam.

I may be mistaken. It's only my best guess at this point. I don't want a Cold Warrior in charge of the superpower.
