The main reason I bought the Edirol R-09 rather than the somewhat cheaper Zoom H2 is that the Edirol has buttons on the box for record level control, and my understanding is that on the Zoom this is a software control. If I'm recording something I want to be able to look at the levels and adjust them with a dedicated button. I don't do a great deal of recording, but I'm very happy with the Edirol. Maybe you Zoom users can tell me how you adjust record level on the H2.

Transfer to computer is slow - I only have USB 1 - I guess I should follow M.Ted's advice and get a card reader.
