An alien civilization, umpteen light years away hears some of our music from the Fifties. They immediately launch a space ship to visit this enlightened civilization.

After travelling many years they get about half way and hear some Rap on their radio. They do a quick about turn, and unfortunately we never get to benefit from their advanced technology.
