There is a sigfnificant number of Iraqis in Baghdad who do want us there and are getting used to the idea we are not there to dictate to them, but to drive out insurgents.

This aspect of our operation over there is perhaps underreported since the violence makes better sound-bites, but it is reported by folks in country.

This does not in any way lessen the stupidity of beginning that operation in the first place.
