Weren't Tony and Dominic playing high-class country music a few years back - complete with bootlace ties? Still at it?

Regards

p.s. Cobh in June is sea shanty time - you Midlands folks wouldn't understand.... Mind you, I ran a sea shanty session in Sean's (try saying that afer severial pints) Bar in Athlone, many years ago - just for the kick of singing them as far as you can get from the sea in Ireland!

Regards

Yeah hear you talkin Martin.--not put down by that !
We have lots of Canal Shanties here in the midlands too---songs of haunted barges, canal buchaneers, lock pirates, flatland privateers, lonesome cabin buoys, uncharted and perch infested waters,
Deep Ellem district in Shannon Harbour etc ,etc.
Bet ther are some Shannon Shanties too ,even if if they were not sung at Seans.
We shipped on board of a Shannon Bridge liner wey hey --etc.
