This venue also holds monthly dances as "Cajun Barn" and is one of the few places in this country which hosts visiting bands from Louisiana, as well as some very good local (British) and European musicians.
The only other venue accessible from the south is Cecil Sharp House, which, in my humble opinion, is nowhere near as good as Tudor Barn.
As a comical aside, I should like to mention that more than one musician from across the pond refers to this place as "The Two-door Barn" and actually believed that was its proper name, albeit with some peculiar english spelling!
