This is sheer cultural vandalism.

And these "Friends" just sound like a bunch of hypocrites: "...to actively work against all forms of discrimination" - except against people who like to have a pint of beer when they are meeting with mates and maybe singing a few songs.

Doing stuff like that is very much part of the tradition of my ethnic group.

The Tudor Barn one of the best folk venues I know, and one of the best pubs. I remember Dave Bryant's wake there - a wonderful occasion.
