Sorry to say, the hoot got the boot. Our February 23 New York Hootenanny at the Yippie Museum Cafe has been pre-empted by a birthday party for one of the owner's kids. But do not despair. We shall return later in te year.

• Wednesday, April 9, 2008. Eco-Fest. Kingsborough Community College Marine Academic Center Playhouse. Brooklyn, NY. 12:30-1:40 PM. Anne Price, Hillel Arnold, and I will be presenting a concert of songs by Woody Guthrie. Admission is free and the general public is welcome, but on-campus parking is limited to KCC students, faculty, and staff.

• Saturday, May 3, 2008. Peoples' Voice Cafe at the Workmen's Circle. 45 East 33rd Street, between Park and Madison Avenues. New York, NY. 8:00-10:30 PM.
