I've been going through accumulated papers and clippings (I'm compulsive -- about collecting pieces of paper, not culling them) and came across the following, which had been used as filler in the New Yorker magazine some time in the past 10 years.

A young girl who was blown out to sea on a pair of inflatable teeth was rescued -- by a man on an inflatable lobster. Two lifeboats had been launched to go to the aid of the child off Bexhill, East Sussex. "This sort of thing is all too common," a coastguard spokesman said.
