Hi Woodsie - The DCMS site here:- http://www.culture.gov.uk/what_we_do/Alcohol_entertainment/licensing_act_2003_explained/ will help explain it. There is no such thing as a Licensee any more as the premises is what is licensed. OK, the alcohol bit would need a Designated Premises Supervisor, but the act doesn't actually state that one is needed for Music. Anyway, the fact is that it's the premises that has the license, not an individual. Hope this helps.
