Mandy yawned, stretched, and cracked her toes. Upon exhaling, she realized that it was....quiet. No warmed, pressurized air forced through vents, no whirring of machinery, the MudcatEnterprise was at a standstill. With the lack of ventilation, the room began to chill quite rapidly. Mandy shrugged her blanket up around her shoulders. She padded over to the view-port, and gazed out upon a glorious blue-green planet.She began to sing quietly, her breath making feathery clouds in the room,
'oh no, you'll not find me lazy
like some high-born expensive lady
I'll do your milking and I'll nurse your baby
And if you are set upon, I'll defend you bravely...'

"That's Tern," said a low voice behind her, "It's my home." The young Terran was gazing over her shoulder at the planet below them.

Suddenly, a voice over the loudspeaker boomed, "We are entering the atmosphere of Tern. Landing Crew please take your stations."

The Green Man began to stir drowsily, and the Terran went to his bedside, draping one of Boukay's arms around his neck, he looked up at Mandy and said, "We have to get him out of here and on to Tern. He'll be safe there, but first we need to get off this ship.."
