Just received an email from John Fahy Cabinet Member, he says -
"I am very mindful of the vibrant nature of the entertainment being provided at the Tudor Barn and the Council is committed to secure long term sustainability for the Tudor Barn, clearly we want to work with you and others to sustain the level of activity that currently exists. There was a clear sense of feeling at the public meeting on Monday and you will not find us wanting to resolve the future of the premises as speedily as possible". I think that sounds quite positive. Mick is trying to make contact today with the director of operations at the Blackheath Rugy Club which is within spitting distance of the Tudor Barn, with a view to us using their club house until the Barn opens again. If we don't have any luck there, Woodsie has another card up his sleeve, but whatever happens Folkmob will continue, there are lots more "Good Times" to come.
