Having played for a North West side (banjo) for a long time I finally left when I found ou that their definition of a musician was "Anybody who isn't in the current dance who can bash hell out of a bass drum)"
The only way to play Morris Tunes is in a sealed room with plenty of soundproofing.
And before anyone comes back with smart ass quips about banjo players - I have heard them all so don't bother
