I'll tell you - it gets scary when you get a letter saying they want more documentation, all in one lump, and if it isn't enough to satisfy them you will be deported!

A lot of what they have asked for we don't have. No joint accounts, Kendall's name only on the utility bills, the mortgage document wasn't enough and we don't have life insurance with each other's names as beneficiary! Now, if we had known that that's what it takes to prove we're a couple we would have sorted it all out at an early date. I suppose that's the sort of stuff that the non genuine ones do anyway.

We have asked our medical insurers to give a note of the cover we each have under Kendall's policy and there should be some record from his federal pension of me being a beneficiary.
