I dunno, Mick. I haven't spent much time in San Diego, just a weekend or three days a year or so ago last December. And then I pretty much only saw the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, a motel, and Amos's house. I would have no idea of the difference (if any) between the Horton Whatever and Tim Horton's, except that the Whatever probably has less grease.

Contrary to what you may have heard Amos does NOT live at the Marine Corps Depot. He IS a "Special Operative" for the Corps, but as a civilian employee. He does HALO jumps into unfriendly territory to garner what he calls "intelligence" and tries to find his way home.

I understand that his wife gets to pick the destinations....
