Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Go to Sleep My Baby / Wyoming Lullaby
I am 45 years old and my mother died in 1998. One day I was looking at a lilac tree and remembered my mother singing "Lilac Trees are Bloomin in the corner by the gate. For several months a few more words came. A few years later I asked my aunt about the song and she sang it out. But soon after she passed away and I was left without the song. I have been thinking about asking my Uncle (the last survivor of this family of 5 children) but thought I would google 1st. This was a lullaby my mother was sung by her nanny in the 1930's. Amazing how many people were sung this as a child and remember it! Thanks to you all!!! Sarah Bennett
