Having recently said goodbye to my 91-year-old dad's earthly form and knowing that he was in a better place now, yet still missing him deeply, I do empathize with your having to part with you in the passing of your mom.

I would say more, but I'm lousy at expressing deep and complex feelings verbally.   So I'll just say my condolences are with you and your family.
