you will find 2 photos of a mountain dulcimer for a one-armed person. It is a beautiful piece of workmanship. The noted first string it pressed down with foot peddles---and the strings are strummed with the player's good hand and arm.
I found this instrument at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas---early 1980s.
