The footstool is an octopus, alas. I also have a crab footstool and a lobster one. (All acquired at the same wonderful yardsale.)

As for eating, I love anchovies (or "sewer trout" as we lovingly refer to them as), oysters (or "sea phlegm" colloquially) AND squid cooked or marinated any which way.
