Hi folks - and thank you Chance for your kind comments.

To Hootenany (and others in the past), it's not an ideal venue but it has its advantages, some of which Ray has spelt out. We get incredible freedom at the school for a minimal amount and are very grateful to them for allowing us almost free rein. As for the future (beyond next year) we have to hope that the new organisation will be as forgiving and generous.

In the meantime, the committee are looking for a paid up FOAOTMAD member to be co-opted into the role of festival coordinator (I've stood down after a number of years due to pressure of work). Any member who fancies a shot at being responsible to the rest of the membership should PM Banjoray.

Here's to next year and being able to join in...
