Hey...I have to ask, 'cause I really don't know - in Glasgow, or anywhere in Scotland, do the books and newspapers ever spell stuff like this?:

"... thons the pot miscryin the kettle when it comes tae ..."
and
"...thocht an aw, ony news aboot that wee Jude, ah miss her oan here so ah dae. Wi her bit Glesca craic, an aw yon gallus patter."

If so, is there a standard...and if not, why here? Little John Cameron used to do it...and Cuillinon (?sp?)...and I had to squint.
