Jen, unfortunately I pretty much have to take antidepressants. You see I am the proud inheritor of a gene that causes a chemical imbalance, causing abnormally low levels of serotonin. Antidepressants just boost production of the serotonins to normal levels. So we can feel the pain the way every one else does, not feeling like your sinking in a bottomless lake, with no hope of swimming to the surface. Keep your chin up.
