Peter, this is a great idea. I'm surprised that I'm stumbling upon the thread just now. I've often wondered about the Audio collections at libraries.

Questions:
1. Do they want brand-new items only?
2. If they take used items, do they take cassettes, too?
3. As for your own project, how far off the "traditional folk and sea music" track are you going?

I'll look around through my recorded music. I'm not sure I have anything at all to offer, but I'll give it a look.
