The house next to mine is up for foreclosure sale. The guy's an architect and the house IS worth a bundle. The sale was originally scheduled for January, then yesterday, and now March 27. The house is only about 7 years old and was built as a project by the Univesity's College of Technology.

My wife was at a Continuing Ed class on taxation and the instructor mentioned the number of foreclosures. Someone said, "Well, that doesn't happen here!" and my wife said, "Read the Legals Section of the newspaper."

Right now there are 42 houses in foreclosure, pre-foreclosure, or bankruptcy. Some of them are in very expensive neighborhoods.
