I had arthroscopic surgery to look around inside a knee. A few hours later, I saw the doctor and asked when the anesthetic was going to wear off because I wanted to know how bad it was going to hurt. He informed me that it had worn off shortly after the surgery. It never did hurt much, but all they did was look around. The worst thing was the swelling, but it was because they pump in a bunch of water. It went back to normal fairly quickly.

The best thing might be if they found a wayward hunk of cartilage they can cut away through the holes. Then, your problem will be solved with no major knee surgery. Best of luck, Skarpi.
