I will have to post a link to a 2 inch circle which was part of a larger painting my grandson did when he was only about 2.5 or 3. I looked closely at the circle, enlarged it, using the scanner, and other people saw what I saw...a hut with geishas or men in kimonos, pine trees on red sandstone hills like we have around here and something like a banshee hanging out above it all on the right. I am sure it was not conscious on his part, but I do think it may have come through from past life or just his imagination. Who knows? I'll dig it out and get it scanned in, again, and put a link in. The colours are somewhat similar to your opal.
