I am happy to say that Eddy was a friend and I for one will miss his cheerful smiling face and our many conversations going home from the club on an evening. It is hard to believe that this gentle soul is gone and harder still to comprehend the manner of his passing.
Those of us who knew him will know of his strong faith and how much he took comfort in it and we can do the same.

On behalf of us all from the old Shoddy, from the Cleckheaton Festival committee and his many friends in the folk world I would like to say we are richer for having known him and that he will leave a space in our lives. We will miss his presence, his pictures and his music.
