To all that are posting on this site, On behalf of a great lady by the name of Joyce James who was one of the singers in Womenfolk, thank you for keeping hers/thier music alive. I myself grew up and spent countless hours listening to the women folk,but for me i was lucky enough to have Joyce James sing to me personally as I am pround to say that i am her nephew. I just happen to be lookng for info on her and the group and stumbled upon this site and you can imange how heart warming it is to know that many people still listen to them. We are fortunate enough to have in our family all the albums ever made by them and whenever we have a family get together we still play them.
