Thanks folks! And b.w., thanks for everything, it was wonderful, and what a book!

You know something, I cried last night. All of my family came, including my eldest from school far away, many friends, and we had great tunes and songs, stories, food, laughter, and in the end, exhaustion. The family got to hear our grandfather's violin played very well, nice since we never knew the man but for Mum's stories. Surprise party deluxe, I didn't see it coming at all. My bride, in her usual efficient manner, pulled off the perfect event. (Some of you may know her from her contributions to our local Goderich Celtic Roots Festival.) When it came time for me to respond, I was speechless, and in tears. Thankfully, the rest of the family is never short of things to say!

I'm still blown away.
