SMEG is Smalterie Metallurgiche Emillane Guastalla, one of Italy's largest manufacturers of appliances. They sell worldwide, with branches in UK and Australia. They are often billed as leading the industry in design and aesthetics; their ranges are especially well-known but the simple, retro-style fridges were what originally made them known. In America, the name Omega is used for some if not all of their ranges and sinks. In America, showrooms are planned, but some premium appliance stores already have their products.
