Nobody's mentioned any of the amazing guest appearances on 6.5 special. I remember Big Bill Broonzy and Sidney Bechet on two of the programs. Any others?

I remember I also used to watch the Grand Ole Opry on BBC TV in the mid-fifties - it was on every Sunday for about a year and had people like Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys, The Stanley Brothers, Grandpa Jones, and Earl Scruggs. Back before country turned into plastc pop.
