Right now the behavior of the globes of light are magic much like music was before I studied music theory.
If I were ever to really know what was happening with those nebulous glowing lights (which scared the hell out of my cats) I would be losing something wonderful for the exchange of something that might have wonderful applications.

Who knows maybe they were micro singularities that just skimmed the Earth. If I had put my finger to the center I may have started an accreation of matter that could have destroyed the Earth.
