Canadian winter: when it's 45 to 50 degrees celsius below freezing, when the snow is piled high (there's actually a pile in Montreal that's currently 80 feet high, check Canadian news for that one). All this goes on for up to 5 months of the year... at least back east it does, on the west coast it's alot milder ;-)
