Well if it is a human who has asked me to listen to their Muzak I have no problem - I know why I am waiting. If I initiated the call it all depends on how much I need them, if not I wouldn't wait at all. If I am buying I can buy elsewhere. I give them less than a minute but yea it does not fill me with confidence.
I prefer the engaged signal - you know you are in a queue.
