Fly over country, like hell! Try DRIVING some of it and get an idea of what your ancestors went through when they settled this country. A whole bunch of them decided that the Midwest was darned pretty country, and stayed here. Mine did, and some of us are still here. It's beautiful country, and like Bill D said, there's PLENTY of room to stretch and grow--minds too. IMHO, the weirdos in the Midwest make much better sense than those on EITHER coast. And yes, I've lived on the West Coast--30 years worth. I LIKE being home.
