I first hooked up a Hayes modem to an Osborne 1 and talked to another computer using ASCII in 1982, I think. But that was not "Internet" -- in the next decade I used dialup BB services of various kinds. Compuserve, which was not really inter-net either, followed. Finally got enough data and found a host I could use in about 1993 or 1994, and discovered the joys of Mozilla. I have never stopped.
