Hi all
I have the following verse to a song my father used to sing. Alas I cannot locate the song as I do not know the name. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Oh Kate a stor you're sleeping
my eyes are wet with weaping
for my little ones that are gone so far away.
the kitchen here was full of them
and one by one the lot of them
sailed out across the ocean
to that land so far away"
