Screw you, Gigi. Ward Churchill was blamed for what he said. Bill Maher was blamed for what he said. In both cases, it was a shameful intolerance of strongly worded, but strong ideas which deserved consideration. Ordinary decency and a respect for the body politic should have dictated other than the reactionary fate they received. They should have been able to defend what they said, in reasoned discussion, at the very least.

From that you extrapolate that Obama should be held to blame for something someone else said that he didn't even hear?
