We did something different this year, celebrated by having excellent corned beef and cabbage at Buster's Saloon in Sun City, Kansas.

It was a good thing we did, because today it is pouring down a cold rain, with plenty of thunder and lightning.

It's too bad the people who run the parade refuse to acknowledge that the weather on March 17th is almost sure to be unpleasant here in
River City.
