It is easy for Obama to say he was against the war from the start when the war was already on when he got his seat in the Senate.
Both Obama and Clinton are whistling in the wind on this one, since conditions may be such that continued presence there is necessary. Clinton admitted this much, at least, but we shall see when new Congressional members are sworn in along with a new president. Will the new president (if Democratic) have like-minded support?

(You know wily old Bush could force the matter by invading some other place, like the Northern Provinces of Pakistan, or Iran. No, lets not think of that.)
