The London Standard may well have supported all these people in the past, but Livingstone has associated himself with some of the worst elements of the left wing, including various Trotskiests who wished to impose a communist dictorship on the whole of Great Britain, not to mention various Islamofascists whose anti-semitism undermines Livingstones own alleged anti-racist stance. Don't let us forget the cronyisim that Livingstone has created. Anyway, I doubt if the Evening Standard is capable of changing people's minds. If newspapers really had that power, we would never have had a labour Party elected in London, parliament or elsewhere.
