Do any of you watch "The Operation" on TLC? Last night it was "Breast Reduction." Just a sec.....I'll be right back.............................Sorry, had to go hurl chunk again. I've been nauseated ever since we watched that sucker last night. Karen is really considering it and we watched.....Now she's a histotech and deals with breast biopsies, timors, removal, etc. all the time and I have, over the years, come to be fascinated and not in the least bothered by discussions over meals about her work......."Hey..We had a 4 pound uterus today." or "We had a tumor the size of a cantalope."......This has become pretty standard dinner conversation and it ceased to bother me years ago as she went into the details of "getting the gangrenous leg out of the freezer and preparing it for the paths....."

And I've had a few surgeries myself lately and watched "The Operation" with some interest. But this thing last night was completely gross! Using the hot knife and hacking out great gobs of fatty tissue..................oy......................Reminded me of watching whales in a flensing shed...........
