The Staten Island Songwriters are having a song showcase this Saturday, March 22 at Everything Goes Book Cafe - 8 p.m. www.etgstores.com 208 Bay Street between Victory Blvd. and Hannah Street. (A quick, 3 minute walk from the Ferry, or take 76 Bus-a free transfer with your Metro-card) FREE to public. Come alone or bring friends.
Staten Island Songwriters are a diverse group of good spirited musicians, playing music ranging from folk, blues, gospel. Evening ends with a sing a long. There also will be a nature photography slide show during the performance by Photographer Louise Luger, one of the singer-songwriters.
The cafe is a cosy and comfortable 'coffeehouse style' cafe that serves coffee, tea and treats, and a back room lined with old books for sale and perusal.
