This is nothing more than an aside really and i can't offer any relevent info re: spoonerism songs. In Robert Morley's "Book of Bricks" there's a true story about a lady who tended to "spooner" and who nearly became a nervous wreck when she got a receptionists appointment in an outlet called "Country Craftwork".
